Dura Lube Sludge Away cleans internal engine parts throughout the life of an oil change, and there is no need to immediately flush the oil after using it. It can be used as a flush if needed. Repeated use helps break down and loosen sludge buildup, allowing it to run out with an oil change. The product improves oil circulation and helps maintain oil viscosity, reducing sludge buildup and preventing oil coking.

For repeated use, change the oil every 3,000 miles on most passenger vehicles by substituting 1 quart of motor oil with Dura Lube Sludge Away. Continue using the product until the sludge appears to be reducing, and check the oil pan to review the sludge consistency on the discarded oil.

For more severe sludge build-up, change the oil and add Sludge Away engine product every 1,000 miles. Repeat the application as needed until the performance and oil color return to normal. The oil color should be amber to a dark brown, not black.

Sludge Away engine product works with all types of motor oils, including high mileage and synthetic oils.
